I have started using Swag Bucks. This is a search engine that pays you bucks to shop. You can then turn in the bucks on the website for gift cards to many different stores. I am going to give it a try. I need all the money I can get. If you have used the Swag Bucks please leave a comment. I would like to hear the good, bad and the ugly.

Cool...did you use my link? If not...no fair! Ha, Ha. I've already racked up 50 swagbucks and have already traded it for a gift card to starbucks. I love it! It's like playing the lottery everytime I am on the computer.

What is pathetic is you putting down a Mom for getting a little something extra. The site exists to have people use it, it then pays the people in gift cards and such. She isn't getting something for nothing, she's getting a reward for using their service. They earn revenue based on how much traffic they send to certain advertisers, sites, shops, etc.
For God sakes the girl got a cup of coffee out of the deal, do you have to be a prick about it? I use the site too. In this day and age you gotta take your breaks where you can get them, and if I can pay for my Starbucks by searching the internet, I'm damn sure gonna do it!
I use swagbucks because it's fun to search random things and every once in a while get a swagbuck or a couple. Being an unemployed college student at a time where jobs were scarce enough to begin with its kinda fun to get a little something from doing what I normally do. Sites make money off of how many hits they get, why does it seem stupid that they give something back to the people who make them money? Don't plan on making anything out of it, but the reward makes searching more interesting.
And since my URL is a band page, both of us use swagbucks to some extent. Us musicians have to make "money" somehow. Don't even get me started on the current state of music. Hope that helped. Have a great life. :)
